RESULTS: What Do You See?
Ya know, we live in a busy, bustling world. It never crossed my mind that as I got older, life would get busier. Somehow, I thought things would slow down and eventually we (my husband, Zach, and I) would get to the point where we would just do our thing, be spontaneous, and settle into retirement.
This is not how life is working out at all. Likely, many of you can relate. If you’re younger than my (almost) 61 years and still in the midst of your career (whether out of the house or staying home), then perhaps this will be a different perspective for you.
What’s the point of all this?
To confess that I was definitely not consistent with the 10 to 15 minutes daily. Some nights, while falling asleep, I would jolt awake because as the days activities went by like a playbook, I would remember that either I hadn’t done the facial exercises or applied the coconut oil / baking soda mixture. Well, this gal doesn’t get outta bed for that, so missed days count as eight.
The good news is that I did the neck exercises 10 out of the 12 days. Not bad.
Here is Day 1 and Day 14 pictures (though in truth, I’ve never been photogenic). But if you look (albeit closely) you can see the fine lines in my neck appear to be improved. The frown lines are visibly better (nice) and the nasolabial folds are also improved. The circles under my right eye appear brighter (though that could just be the lighting) but the lines on the inner eyebrow look markedly improved (also, nice). All in all, my face looks brighter.
But, there is a downside. The good news is that coconut oil is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral. Baking soda is a pH balancer and all-around cleanser. This combination resulted in toxins being drawn from my face and, of all places, it really liked to pull from the tip of the nose. This has been unpleasant. 😊
But at least bad things are getting out, right?
All-in-all, I am pleased with this challenge and now I challenge you (if you didn’t participate the first time), to give it a go. Remember to take before and after pictures so you can really know what’s going on.
Who knows? In another year, we may all look a few years younger. And if you’re a member of Third Covenant, you should certainly know what steps to take to being this journey.
As always, let me know if you have any questions, or, feel free to post your comments below.
God Bless!
