Hay fever and allergy season is practically on top of us. There are many folks who suffer from itchy, watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing when their bodies react to air-borne allergens. Some also suffer from headaches, irritability, lack of appetite, depression and even the inability to sleep. These include the pollen from trees, grasses, and other plants. It can be miserable.

Suggested Action Steps

  • Remove foods and liquids in your diet that contribute to hay fever and allergy symptoms. The biggest culprits include bread, pasta, sugar, dairy, and beer. Do consume onions and garlic in both raw and cooked form. Raw garlic must be treated differently; if you’d like to know how to handle it so the body can best utilize it, please send us an email.
  • Make sure you’re providing your body enough supplemental nutrition to help counter symptoms. These include Vitamin B Complex, Buffered or Whole Food Vitamin C, Beta-Carotene, Calcium, Magnesium, and Selenium. If you’d like suggestions about how much of each to take and which brands we consider best, please send me an email.
  • Keep some lavender essential oil with you. This is where I order most of our essential oils. In the event we feel any allergy symptoms coming on, we just use a few drops of the Lavender Bulgarian Essential Oil on the Vita Flex point of the ear.

If you’d like to see the rest of the vita-flex points for the ear, you can do a quick Internet search. You’ll also find vita-flex points for the hands and feet. Just make sure you don’t get any oil in your eyes. That burns.
